FireFly has expanded its exploration footprint in the district from 56km2 to 346km2 since the acquisition of the Green Bay Project in October 2023, acquiring the key geological horizons considered most prospective for copper and gold VMS mineralisation.

On 24 July 2025, the Company announced the results of a modern geophysical campaign over the central Green Bay Copper-Gold Project claims, which has identified 325 conductive anomalies potentially caused by copper-gold bearing sulphide mineralisation considered to be look-alikes to the known deposits (e.g. Ming, Rambler Main, East Mine).The surveys, comprising airborne electrical (VTEM) and magnetic data plus localised ground electromagnetic (EM) follow-up, represent the first modern regional geophysics over the area and strengthen the case for significant discovery upside.
Geophysics is a key exploration tool at Green Bay, with the mineralisation at the Ming deposit and other known deposits exhibiting strong responses to electromagnetic surveys due to the conductive nature of the chalcopyrite-rich sulphide mineralisation.
Many of the 325 anomalies occur as coherent trends that exhibit strong resemblance to known mineralisation in the district. Similarities include geological setting, orientation of the trends (North-East, similar to Ming), and magnitude of the conductive responses.
The Company plans to systematically drill test the high-priority anomalies beyond the known deposits to confirm the cause of the anomalous response, which could include copper and gold bearing sulphides.
Surface exploration initially focused on the Rambler Main Mine, which is just one of several historical VMS deposits mined at Green Bay in the 1960s and 1970s.
The Rambler Main deposit was mined to only 200m below surface between 1964 and 1967 and remains open. Published estimates of historical production at Rambler Main Mine total 440kt @ 1.3% copper, 4.7g/t gold and 2.2% silver.
The maiden drilling program at the historical Rambler Main Mine, located less than 2km from the flagship Ming Mine within the Green Bay Project, returned high-grade gold-copper-zinc intersections. These results were announced on 15 May 2025 and highlight the potential for a repeat of Green Bay’s high-grade large-scale flagship Ming Mine.
Thick intersections of VMS style mineralisation were encountered up to 200m down-plunge of historic workings, and the mineralisation remains open. Results from the first two holes returned polymetallic intersections of:
